Discovery, guidance and support in a safe environment.

My private practice is in Downtown Seattle. I see individuals, couples, and families.

I am an interactive therapist. My first consideration is to create a safe environment in which the client is able to share inner experience as well as take risks and explore healthy options. I offer deep empathy as well as encourage practical change. I use a variety of modalities in order to best meet the individual needs of each unique client. More than techniques I strive to help the client look beneath the facade to their true self in order to reclaim cut-off parts of themselves. Emphasis is on the client's movement toward the realization of fullest potential.

I believe therapy is a partnership between client and therapist. Together we will look at your current level of functioning. We will examine dysfunctional patterns, trace their source, and gradually move into new behaviors and expanded options. With new choices come emotional flexibility and increased potential for greater fulfillment in all areas of life.

In working with families I help the entire family move away from shame and blame to greater communication, understanding, and working relationships for the mutual benefit of all members.

An experiential workshop utilizing movement, expression and sound.

I facilitate quarterly workshops called "Coming Alive". These experiential, participatory workshops allow you to:

To these workshops I bring my extensive background in the arts as well as my knowledge and experience as a Masters Level Psychotherapist. I am an accomplished dancer and choreographer as well as an experienced professional actress and improviser. I have facilitated numerous workshops in expressive movement for non-dancers.
