Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I received my M.A. in Psychology from Antioch University in 1992, where I concentrated in Family Systems. I also studied Family Ministry at Regis University in Denver, and have received training in mediation techniques. I have twenty-five years experience working with parents, and leading parent education and support groups. As a mother of five, I have had years of practical experience with family issues.
My approach is drawn from a number of theoretical bases, including family systems, Gestalt, object relations, cognitive and solution-oriented theories. My focus is always on helping people to find their own solutions, and supporting the strengths they bring to the situation.
